This is the beginning of a new day,
God has given me this day to use as I will.
I can waste it or use it for good.
What I do today is very important.
Because I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever.
Leaving something in its place I have traded for it.
I want it to be gain, not loss – good not evil.
Success, not failure in order that
I shall not forget the price I paid for it.

Above is a brief saying that Paul "Bear" Bryant read each morning.  The words are powerful and remind us of the price our daily decisions cost.  Make today count!

...and what better way to start your day than giving to St. Jude!  As you know, I pledged to raise $2,500 for the children/families at St. Jude.  I have been blessed by the people who have donated already!  There is no such thing as a donation too small.  Each and every dollar that is donated goes directly to St. Jude!  And another bonus for donating to St. Jude... the money is TAX-DEDUCTIBLE!!

So go ahead and get your debit/credit cards out... follow this link (St. Jude Hero - Dusty Wise) and help me meet/surpass my $2,500 pledge!

Updated stats:
I pledged to raise $2,500 total.  So far, I have $710, which leaves $1,790.
  • If I had 179 people donate $10, I would reach my goal.
  • If I had 71 people donate $25 (and one $15), I would reach my goal.
  • If I had 35 people donate $50 (and two $20), I would reach my goal.
  • If I had 17 people donate $100 (and six $15), I would reach my goal.
  • If I had 1 person donate $1,790, I would reach my goal! :)

There are tons of combinations of how the money can be raised and the pledge fully-compensated.   Will you help?

If you have questions, please send me an email.  I'd love to talk with you! Email Me!

This is probably how I look while running...
